2.5 ways to die

Drafthouse Films will put ABCs of Death 2.5: World Competition Edition on Vimeo next week.

The compilation will features shorts submitted for the ‘M is for…’ competition for ABCs of Death 2. Over 500 films were submitted to the competition, which was won by Robert Boocheck’s M is for Masticate.

The compilation culls those 500 to an alphabetically-themed 26. Producer Ant Timpson, who originated the concept, said, “The hard part was selecting only 26, as the competition provided so many outstanding entries. We couldn’t be happier with the final lineup.

“There’s enough horror, humour, weirdness, and, frankly, truly fucked up material to give even the most jaded fan a wake-up call from Hell.”

The film is on pre-order for purchase or rental, and will be available from 2 August (US date).
