David Farrier and Dylan Reeve’s Tickled is the sole feature documentary from NZ named for this year’s Hot Docs.
Tickled will have its NZ premiere at the NZIFF’s Autumn Events and yesterday announced its general release for 26 May.

This year, Australia is the country focus at Hot Docs, with the Made in Australia programme screening eight features and five shorts. Among the features is Nicole Ma’s Putuparri and the Rainmakers, also heading here for Autumn Events.
Several of the films will have their world premieres in the Made in Australia programme. Two of Gillian Armstrong’s docos, Smokes and Lollies and 14’s Good, 18’s Better will screen in Hot Docs’ Redux programme.
Hot Docs will take place in Toronto, Canada from April – 8 May.
