Two NZ features make the cut for this year’s BFI London Film Festival, which offers a line-up of 242 feature films.
Set and partly shot in London, Toa Fraser’s 6 Days is hardly a surprising choice for the festival. Tusi Tamasese’s One Thousand Ropes (pictured, top) is the other Kiwi title named.
Premiered here in the NZIFF, 6 Days releases in NZ next week. One Thousand Ropes premiered at this year’s Berlinale, and recently played the Sydney Film Festival.
The BFI London Film Festival runs 4 – 15 October.
