Cinematographer Aaron Morton was one of several winners for work on Orphan Black at the Canadian Screen Awards (CSA).
There’ll be a lot of award-hungry Canadian cinematographers happy to see the back of Orphan Black when it concludes next year. Morton (Sione’s Wedding, Evil Dead and the upcoming 6 Days) has now won the CSA gong for Best Photography in a Dramatic Program or Series four years in a row, once for each season of the show.
This year Orphan Black took nine gongs at the CSA, including the win for Best Drama Series. Orphan Black’s lead, Tatiana Maslany, matched Morton’s run by winning the Best Actress gong for the fourth year running for her work on the show. Maslany took a second Best Actress award for Joey Klein’s feature The Other Half.
