Not far from the Documentary Awards happening at Auckland’s Q Theatre last night, Director Andrew Adamson was one of those honoured at the World Class New Zealand Awards.
The awards honour individuals in various fields. Adamson was honured for his work in the film and creative fields. Adamson was named alongside Neville Jordan, Catherine Mohr, Murray Brennan and Claudia Batten. American Craig Elliott was named a Friend of New Zealand. The tall poppy trophies winners received were designed by Richard Taylor.
The appropriately-monikered high flier Batten, previously of Massive, was named tallest of the tall poppies, taking the Supreme World Class New Zealand Award.
