AFK heads to Korea

Peter Haynes webseries AFK is nominated in three categories for Asia’s only web series festival, K Web Fest, which runs in Seoul later this month.

AFK is nominated for awards for Best Action, Best Costume Design and Best S/VFX at KWF.

AFK is one of a number of series making the trip to Korea that recently played this year’s Melbourne Web Fest, among them French web series Osmosis, which took Melbourne’s International Drama award, and Canadian series Coded. All three series will head to the Bilbao Web Fest later in the year.

AFK is also selected for GenCon, Games on Film and OUT Web Fest 2017.

K Web Fest was established last year with the support of Michael Ajakwe, founder of the world’s first web fest, LA Web Fest. This year’s K Web Fest will run in Seoul, 18 – 20 August.

The first season of AFK is available to view here.
