Screentime drama Anzac Girls has racked up international sales ahead of MipTV, where All3Media is launching the show for international buyers. It features Antonia Prebble as one of the titular girls working as nurses during World War I. The show is one of many produced internationally to mark the 2014 centenary of the commencement of war.
Developed from Peter Rees’ novel The Other Anzacs, the show was funded by Screen Australia, the South Australian Film Corporation and NZ On Air. It will screen on Prime in NZ. The 6 x 60′ show has been sold to Brazil (Globo) and Denmark (TV2).
