Jai Waite has won the Apollo Award for Editor – Long Form for the documentary Jimmy Wants a Job from Attitude’s 2013 series. The awards were presented in Singapore on Wednesday evening.
Waite was announced as a finalist earlier in the month. The awards honour production and post-production skills across the Asia Pacific region.
Other wins with a NZ connection were two for Singapore’s Beach House Pictures, a stablemate of NHNZ. Jerry Teo took the Sound Design – Long Form gong and Karen Ng the Colour Grading gong, both for Himalayan Tsunami for Discovery Communications India.
