BBC announces Tatau cast

The UK’s Touchpaper and SPP partner for the 8×45′ TV drama. Naturally enough, the Beeb’s release focuses on the Brits cast in lead roles, but does manage a mention for the “various New Zealand actors”. Good on’em.

NZ cast includes Tai Berdinner-Blades (Go Girls, Home by Christmas and short Ellen Is Leaving), Rawiri Jobe (Step Dave), Temuera Morrison (Mt. Zion, Fresh Meat, Shortland Street), Shushila Takao (Power Rangers Megaforce, Sione’s 2: Unfinished Business), Alex Tarrant (Totes Maori, Rounds), Rangimoana Taylor (Paradise Cafe, Holly’s Heroes, Seven Periods with Mr Gormsby), Kirk Torrance (The Dark Horse, The Almighty Johnsons, Outrageous Fortune) and Cian Elyse White (Fantail, The Blue Rose, Underbelly: Land of the Long Green Cloud).

The full BBC casting release for Tatau is here.

Tatau is currently in production.
