Big Screen Symposium teases out first speakers

Aussie Luke Davies leads the international line-up for this year’s Big Screen Symposium, which has begun rolling out its announcements. Davies is best-known for penning BAFTA winning screenplay Lion.

Among the locals so far out of the traps producer Catherine Fitzgerald and director Tusi Tamasese, collaborators on The Orator and One Thousand Ropes, wll present a case study of the latter film. Other One Thousand Ropesteam members presenting at this year’s BSS include editor Annie Collins and colourist Claire Burlinson.



Earlybird tickets to the Big Screen Symposium are on sale via iTicket until 30 August. The Big Screen Symposium runs 30 September – 1 October.
