Box Office: week to 14 October 2009

Up keeps sucking the helium, still rising above allcomers for a fifth straight week, but the school holidays are over now, so its impressive run might come to end next week.

Ex-pat Kiwi producer Finola Dwyer, recently EP on Dean Spanley, delivers An Education to 7 in its opening week.

District 9 comes close to racking up $2.5 million in revenue.

Sunshine Cleaning ends the week one ticket sale shy of $600,000. The Strength of Water and Separation City both hold position, the latter earning more this week than last – and from fewer screens.
