Box Office: week to 25 November 2009

Predictably, New Moon conquered all, taking almost two thirds of all takings for the week. Twilight has taken $3.75 million including its currrent ‘encore’ screenings; New Moon is only $400,000 shy of that figure after its first week. If it wasn’t for bad luck, the Vintner wouldn’t have any at all. Up against an unusually high number of female skewed films in the top ten, it appears likely its critical drubbing will be repeated at the box office.
