Doc Edge has announced date changes for the Auckland leg of its 2013 Festival and Screen Edge Forum.
The calendar shift has come about in part because of a clash with MipTV’s 50th anniversary outing in Cannes.
Realising potential delegates faced a choice between autumn in Auckland and spring in the south of France, MipTV organisers Reed Midem were suddenly desperate to find a solution to clash. Or, possibly, couldn’t give a frog’s leg.
The Auckland leg of the Doc Edge Festival will run at Q Theatre, as previously announced, but one week later than originally planned. The festival now runs Thursday 11 – Sunday 21 April.
Doc Edge’s Screen Edge Forum, at AUT, will now run Thursday 18 – Saturday 20 April. Changing the Forum dates also means that its closing day no longer clashes with the second edition of Unitec’s Uni Shorts festival, which runs the weekend of 13 – 14 April.
