Elizabeth has a perfect understanding of STUDIOCANAL’s local activities and teams and we have faith in her marketing experience and expertise, as well as her international profile, to help the studio cross a new threshold in this part of the world. In addition to strengthening our local distribution activities, she will be responsible for initiating and developing local film production, which is strategic for us as a complement to our international productions policy.”

We are operating in a rapidly changing media environment that represents both opportunity and challenges. STUDIOCANAL is a leading global provider of quality content across both film and television, so we are well positioned for growth in the Australasian market. A major focus for me will be to build and implement strategies that will enhance our growth in this diverse entertainment environment. ”

Elizabeth Trotman started her career at The Walt Disney Company. She worked for Warner Bros. Entertainment and then BBC Worldwide before joining Hoyts Distribution in 2002 where she has been the General Manager of Sales and Marketing since 2012.

STUDIOCANAL thanks Robert Slaviero for all his work at the head of Hoyts and would like to particularly thank him for his leadership and involvement in integrating the company into STUDIOCANAL following its acquisition in 2012.
