The second season of Justin Harwood’s High Road is named in the 51-title selection for this year’s Melbourne WebFest.
While High Road is the only Kiwi title, MWF has selected 22 Australian series, several of which have been supported through Screen Australia’s digital funding streams. They include Airlock from The Tunnel filmmaker Enzo Tedeschi, who recently launched new distribution service Deadhouse; more of Shaun Wilson’s Noirhouse (which won Melbourne’s directing gong last year); Victoria Cocks’ Wastelander Panda; and Louna Maroun’s Neighbours VS Zombies (supported under the Screen Australia-YouTube initiative Skip Ahead).
Last year the festival selected two NZ webseries, The Adventures of Suzy Boon and Flat 3.
The Melbourne Web Fest runs 10 – 12 July.
