High Road tops Hollyweb Fest

Season 3 of Justin Harwood’s web series High Road has won the top award at Hollyweb Fest. Mark Mitchinson took out the Best Actor in a Drama award.

As part of the prize, High Road gets entry and a trip to this year’s Raindance Web Fest in London – coincidentally where episode one of the third season was shot.

Also among the Hollyweb Festival winners was a second NZ show, The Candle Wasters’ Bright Summer Night, which took out the Best Drama award.

Expat stuntie and actress Zoe Bell appeared in the festival’s conference line-up.

Hollyweb Fest named close to 100 selections for its 2017 edition and presented 25 awards. High Road was one of only two shows picking up more than one award. US series Doomsday took Best Pilot and Best Actress (Drama) for Karin Agstam.
