A year after its premiere at SXSW, Gerard Johnstone’s Housebound heads to Taiwan for the Golden Horse Fantastic Film Festival (GHFFF).
Housebound plays in the festival’s Fresh Blood line-up. The festival presents a wide and varied programme. Other titles are featured which have had a good run on the festival, including Kornél Mundruczó’s White God and Ana Lily Amirpour’s A Girl Walks Home Alone at Night. For true horror, there’ll be a singalong screening of Baz Luhrman’s Moulin Rouge.
This year’s edition will also present a Wes Anderson retrospective, screening several titles (Bottle Rocket, The Darjeeling Limited, Fantastic Mr. Fox, The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou, The Royal Tenenbaums and Rushmore) but not his most recent and well-awarded The Grand Budapest Hotel.
The Golden Horse Fantastic Film Festival runs 10 – 19 April.
