Irish renew Hunt for the Wilderpeople

Galway returns itself to the list of festival destinations for Taika Waititi’s Hunt for the Wilderpeople, as the Junior Galway Film Fleadh confirms its 2016 line-up. The firmly youth-focused event offers workshop sessions alongside its screening programme.

Hunt for the Wilderpeople took the audience award for Best International Feature Film at the grown-ups’ Galway Film Fleadh in July. Kids will now get to see what entertained their parents so much. The Junior edition of the festival programme also includes Roger Ross Williams’ Sundance winner Life, Animated, which screened here in the NZIFF earlier this year.

The Junior Film Fleadh runs 9 – 12 November.
