Kiwi short a winner in Japan

Zoe McIntosh’s The World In Your Window (pictured, top) has won the Official Competition (International) at Tokyo’s Short Shorts Film Festival.

McIntosh’s short is already an award winner from its trip to Clermont Ferrand in February. The film was made under the Premiere Shorts (now Premiere Pathways) scheme. McIntosh’s short was produced by Hamish Mortland, also the producer of another recent Premiere Pathways short, Roseanne Liang’s Do No Harm.

Other winners at Tokyo’s Short Shorts included Mi Mi Lwin’s Grand Prix winner Sugar & Spice and Japanese director Gori’s born, bone, boon, winner of the Official Competition (Japan).

The World In Your Window is currently also at the Palm Springs Shorts Fest, which names its winners over the weekend.
