With the Cannes Film Festival ready to roll out its 2016 line-up late tomorrow NZ time, the (even) more commercially-focused Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity has announced its programme.
The headline talent for the conference programme will include filmmakers Spike Jonze and Oliver Stone, illusionist David Copperfield, actress Gwyneth Paltrow.
Pictured top, expat director Martin Campbell (Green Lantern, Casino Royale, Vertical Limit) will present at Lions Entertainment, which launches this year with a presenter line-up which also includes actor Channing Tatum and wrestler John Cena. Pixar’s Story Supervisor Martin Luhn will present as part of the Lions Innovation programme.
Throughout the week-long event there’ll also be the roll-out of the finalists and winners of the Lions, as the 40,000+ entries are whittled down in the 20 or so award categories.
This year’s Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity will run 18 – 25 June.
