Loading Docs opens doors

Following on from the NZ On Air announcement confirming support for a number of digital projects, Loading Docs has begun to wind up for a third round of three-minute documentaries.

CHANGE will be next year’s theme.

The 19 docos so far created during the first two outings, including Dancing In The Dark (pictured, top), have racked up over 600,000 views to date.

“Telling a compelling 3-minute story is a test of creativity, skill and ingenuity,” said organisers Julia Parnell and Anna Jackson.

Submissions are open until 21 November. Selected projects will be announced before Christmas, with films to premiere in July 2016 – some in partnership with the NZIFF. Submission info is here. To watch titles from the first two editions of Loading Docs, start here.

Loading Docs is supported by NZ On Air and the NZFC, with partners TVNZ OnDemand, The New Zealand International Film Festival, Toybox and Sale Street Studios.
