Madam Black wins in France

Ivan Barge’s Madam Black has taken the Audience Award in Clermont-Ferrand’s international competition.

Last year Madam Blackwon a Director’s Choice Award at the Rhode Island IFF, the Audience Award in the NZ’s Best competition at the NZIFF and added to its haul in Europe, taking an Audience Award at the Leeds IFF, and two prizes at the Gijon IFF: the Youth Jury Award for Best Short Film and the “GIL PARRONDO” Award for the Best Art Direction.

James Cunningham’s Accidents, Blunders & Calamities also played in Clermont-Ferrand’s interntaional competition line-up, while David White’s The Couple played in the Lab competition,
