MDS a Serious Games finalist

The Serious Games Showcase and Challenge Australasia (SGSCA) has named five Serious Games finalists in its Student/Indie category and two in Commercial Government catgegory.

Media Design School’s Robin (pictured, top), which exposes players to aspects of Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, is the only NZ finalist named.

The SGSCA celebrates games which not only entertain but teach, inform and engage with their audience about a topic.

The games will be showcased at the Australasian Simulation Congress (ASC) which runs 26 – 29 September in Melbourne.

The finalists are:

Cognify (Revelian)
Safe Environments (Bondi Labs)
