Michael Brook to exit Screen Auckland

After nine years with Screen Auckland and predecessor Film Auckland, manager Michael Brook will take on a new role outside of the screen industry, managing the development of ATEED’s internal culture.

In an email to colleagues Brook noted that he’s been in the industry for 30 years in a variety of roles, and that he was departing at a time when the local industry is in good shape, with plenty of work, especially in the TV and TVC sectors.

Brook paid special thanks to the Film Auckland Inc board and Screen Auckland team.

Katie Flannigan, presently leading the permit facilitation team, will become Screen Auckland’s acting manager. Brook will take up his new position on 24 February.
