MIPCOM 2009: day two deals

There’s much less NZ-related information released today, partly because some of the major players such as BBCWW had such a big day yesterday, partly because NZ companies are traditionally slow to blow their own trumpets.

Comcast International Media Group has sold unspecified content to unspecified New Zealand broadcasters, while National Geographic Channel has picked up technology and gaming show Human Wrecking Balls from G4.

The nominations for the 37th International Emmy Awards were announced at MIPCOM. Nominations include output from 17 countries, although NZ is not among them. We are good at winning fair play awards however, and South Pacific Pictures is named as a judge.
