notes to eternity for Irish festival

notes to eternity documentary feature film has been selected to screen in the Documentary Panorama section of the Belfast Film Festival.

A preliminary cut of the film premiered at the NZIFF 2014. The film was subsequently completed in 2016 and had a theatrical release here last year, screening in over 30 locations around the country. The film is directed and produced by New Zealander Sarah Cordery and is an impressionistic meditation on the Israel-Palestine conflict centering on the lives and ideas of four renowned critics of Israeli policy: Noam Chomsky, Sara Roy, Norman Finkelstein and Robert Fisk

2017 is the 17th edition of the Belfast Film Festival. It’s been described as “entertaining and provocative” and in many cases “providing an important platform for debate across the religious, social and cultural divides in Northern Ireland”.

Sara Roy is attending the festival from Boston, and will take part in a Q&A after the film’s screening. The Belfast Film Festival runs 31 March – 8 April.
