NZ agencies have taken two Grand Prix awards so far at this year’s Cannes Lions.
Y&R’s McWhopper for Burger King won the Print and Publishing Grand Prix, while Colenso BBDO took the Outdoor Grand Prix for Brewtroleum for DB Export.
In addition to the Health gongs won over the weekend, NZ agencies have taken eight gold medals, 11 silver and eight bronze. Both campaigns awarded Health gongs, FCB NZ’s Paradise Hill family violence campaign and Colenso BBDO’s X-Ray Casts for Anchor Milk have collected more awards.
The most-awarded campaign so far has been Y&R’s McWhopper, with four gold, five silver and a pair of bronze awards to add to its Grand Prix. Fellow Grand Prix winner Brewtroleum has the largest number of gold awards, with seven.
The awards conveyor belt keeps on running at Cannes Lions until Friday,
