NZ On Air appointments announced

Beehive, Wellington, 24 July 2015: Dunedin businessman Ian Taylor and media specialist Helen Grattan have been appointed to the board of NZ On Air, Broadcasting Minister Amy Adams announced today.

Current members, Miriam Dean CNZM QC, Ross McRobie and Kim Wicksteed have been reappointed for varying terms.

Ms Adams said both Mr Taylor and Ms Grattan were experienced media professionals who would make a good contribution to the board.

“Mr Taylor has pioneered digital media advances in animation and children’s content production while Ms Grattan is a highly respected media specialist with extensive experience in the domestic and international content marketing,” Ms Adams says.

“The high calibre of the continuing and new appointees to the board will ensure NZ On Air continues to be well served.”

Both Mr Taylor and Ms Grattan will serve three-year terms.
