NZIFF announces Wairoa programme

For the third time, Wairoa Maori Film Festival director Leo Koziol has curated a programme of shorts, the Ngā Whanaunga shorts programme, for 2014’s NZIFF.

Pollywood Film Festival Director Craig Fasi worked with Koziol to curate this year’s programme.

INC’d and Ahi Ka, which between them took the Best Short and acting goings at Wairoa on Queen’s Birthday weekend, are among the programme.

The seven titles selected for the Ngā Whanaunga programme are:
Richard Curtis’ Ahi Kā, Lennie Hill’s Footsteps, Riwia Brown’s In the Rubbish Tin, Darren Simmonds’ INC’d, Poata Eruera’s Pūmanawa: The Gift, Jack Woon’s Rising Dust and Rebecca Collins’ Tohunga.
