A couple of titles each from this year’s Doc Edge and NZIFF are named in the seven feature line-up for this year’s Raglan Arts Film Festival.
Lisa Burd’s Monterey and Sharmeen Obaid-Chinoy’s Song of Lahore played Doc Edge. Errol Wright and Abi King-Jones NZIFF-premiered The 5th Eye and David Farrier and Dylan Reeves’ Tickled, which screened in the NZIFF’s Autumn Events, are also named.
Paolo Rotondo’s Orphans & Kingdoms, which had a theatrical run earlier this year, completes the NZ titles selected.
Two international comedies are also named: Grímur Hákonarson’s Un Certain Regard winner Hrútar (Rams) and János Edelényi’s British comedy The Carer.
The festival also plays a competitive programme of shorts.
The Raglan Arts Film Festival runs 16 – 23 September
