Script to Screen names FilmUp mentors

Script to Screen has announced the mentor-mentee partnerships for FilmUp 2016.

The pairings are:

  • Writer/director Andrew Adamson (Shrek) mentors Tim Van Dammen
  • Writer/director Dana Rotberg (White Lies) mentors writer Josephine Stuart-Tewhui
  • Writer/director Gerard Johnstone (Housebound) mentors Joe Lonnie
  • Writer/director Jake Mahaffy (Free In Deed) mentors Max Currie
  • Producer Rachel Gardner (Slow West) mentors Georgina Conder
  • Director Ray Lawrence (Lantana) mentors Gaysorn Thavat
  • Writer/director Rolf De Heer (Charlie’s Country) mentors Yamin Tun
  • Producer Rosemary Blight (Cleverman) mentors Nadia Maxwell

FilmUp is a high-end development programme for writers, directors and producers. Participants receive 20 hours of time from their mentor and attend a series of hub days including round tables, workshops, and group work as part of the programme.

FilmUp is supported by the New Zealand Film Commission.
