Sky and Vodafone have pulled the plug on their attempts to overturn the Commerce Commission decision that put the kibosh on the companies’ plans to merge earlier this year.
The two companies announced their decision to the stock market this monring, with a short statement offering nothing in the way of explanation of the thinking behind the decision.
The companies noted they would continue to work together “to strengthen our commercial relationship for the benefit of the customers and the shareholders of our respective organisations”.
