SLR to pitch ObDoc pilot at MIPJunior & MIPCOM

SLR Productions, Sydney, 1 October 2014: SLR Productions will debut the company’s first ‘observational documentary series’ with the pilot of Aussie Mobile Vet featuring at this year’s MIP Junior & MIPCOM market.

Aussie Mobile Vet will provide audiences with a unique insight into the world of one of Sydney’s busiest veterinary clinics run by 32 year old identical twin sisters, Dr Audrey and Dr Alison Shen, as they juggle their busy lives as vets, wives, mums and business owners.

Against the backdrop of one of Australia’s most vibrant and beautiful cities, we join these extraordinary young vets on the road in their Aussie Mobile Vet van and also back at their clinic, Happy Tails Veterinary Hospital.

Providing an exceptional standard of medical and surgical care to their furry and feathery animal patients, we share the twin vets’ highs and lows from real pet emergencies to everyday animal care in this exciting and heart-warming series.

CEO and Executive Producer of SLR Productions, Suzanne Ryan said, “SLR Productions has a long and rich history of creating exceptional characters and stories in its programs for children and families so I am delighted to be adding this character-based observational documentary to our programming portfolio. The pilot will be launched at this year’s MIP Junior & MIPCOM. Dr Alison and Dr Audrey Shens’ dedication, infectious enthusiasm and love for animals, great and small, will make Aussie Mobile Vet a compelling and entertaining television series”.

The Aussie Mobile Vet pilot will be available for screenings at MIP Junior and MIPCOM.
