16 and 23 February are the dates for Ian Powell’s Cinematography with Super8 course in Auckland.
On Thursday 18 DEGNZ hosts a FilmTalk event at Rialto, Auckland, for Rebecca Tansley’s Crossing Rachmaninoff. On Wednesday 24 it’s the turn of Mahana. Wednesday 24 is also the evening for the WIFT Awards.
Te Papa puts on a couple of special events to accompany its DreamWorks Animation exhibition. Friday 19 sees three presenters Exploring Digital Storytelling, followed on Saturday by a day of workshops.
Sunday 21 IGDA is running its Minicade Showcase at MOTAT.
Tuesday 23 sees Script to Screen kick off its 2016 programme in Auckland with Cannes Directors’ Fortnight selector Benjamin Illos in conversation with Max Currie.
Kathryn Burnett will run her Beginners Guide To Screenwriting on 27 and 28 February.
