Sony CineAlta

Two new issues of CineAlta Magazine are now available – a production journal dedicated to the art and craft of cinematography with Sony’s digital motion picture cameras.


CineAlta magazine is focused on production stories told directly by filmmakers. It is intended to be an educational resource on how Sony’s large sensor cameras are being used in the real world, incorporating all genres such as fashion, documentary, feature film, music video, commercials, episodic television and much more.

The CineAlta Monkey Kingdom special edition focuses on the production of this stunning wildlife film from Disney Nature, following a troupe of monkeys in Sri Lanka. Shot on three F65 and two F55 cameras – this film took three years in the jungle, over 1,000 shooting days and eight months of editing!
