Sony Computer Entertainment Inc. (SCE) has announced that its PlayStation4 (PS4) has now sold more than 10 million units worldwide, making it the fastest-selling version of PS hardware.
PS4 game sales have passed 30 million in less than a year.
The announcement coincided with the Gamescom trade fair in Cologne, Germany, where Sony was busy announcing all manner of other enhancements to the PS4 service.
Among the many title announcements for later in the year, some of which gamers will hope for sneak peeks at during Digital Nationz next month, was the announcement that NZ wil lbe among the territories getting PlayStation TV.
Sony announced it will launch PlayStation TV in European and PAL territories. The NZ launch will be on 14 November, selling with a RRP of $159.95.
