Spark adds Netflix to offer

Only days after the Commerce Commission put the Sky-Vodafone merger to the sword, Spark has announced a deal which will give broadband customers on certain plans a 12-month subscription to Netflix.

There’s no word on whether this new deal will affect Spark’s own online content service, Lightbox, which hasn’t really set the world alight in terms of its overall content offer. Lightbox does offer a number of NZ shows, including SPP’s Go Girls, Outrageous Fortune and Westside.

Spark is promoting the deal here.
