The Spikes Asia Festival of Creativity has named a bunch of juries for its 2014 awards next month. Three Kiwis make the cut among the juries announced.
Flying Fish MD James Moore will sit on the Craft Jury, alongside The Feds’ Lizzy Nash; Copper Brand Experiences’ founder Megan Clark serves on the Direct and Promo & Activation Jury; while Previously Unavailable’s James Hurman serves on the Innovation Jury.
Last year the event attracted 1,800 delegates from 30 countries. Run by the same team that runs Cannes Lions in June, it’ll be interesting to see if there’s much attention paid to scam at Spikes Asia. A number of Cannes Lions award winners were accused of creating such work this year, with a couple of Australian agencies in particular under the gun.
Entries for Spikes Asia closed on Friday (8 August). Last year NZ agencies walked away from the awards with over 40 awards including a pair of Grand Prix and and an outright win for Auckland’s Open, who took away the Media Agency of the Year gong.
Spikes Asia will run 23 – 26 Spetember in Singapore, with the awards handed down on the closing night.
