Spookers for Sydney

The Sydney Film Festival has announced 28 titles for this year’s edition including Florian Habicht’s Spookers.

Spookers (pictured, top) will also play HotDocs later this month.

Australian titles named in the announcement included two docos: Jennifer Peedom’s Mountain and Holly Fifer’s The Opposition, which also plays this year’s Doc Edge at the second attempt, having been prevented from screening by an injunction last year. The Festival will also premiere Gregory Erdstein’s That’s Not Me.

Shahrbanoo Sadat’s Wolf & Sheep, produced by The Weight of Elephants producer Katja Adomeit, is also among the early announcements.

The full Sydney Film Festival programme will be announced on Wednesday 10 May at 11am. The Sydney Film Festival runs 7 – 18 June.
