Clemenger BBDO’s ‘Mistakes’ for NZTA was named the year’s best ad work at this year’s AXIS Awards.
Mistakes took award 10 awards all up, including the Grand Axis and Grand Prix for Copywriting and for Film & Screen. DDB Group took Creative Agency of the Year after wins for a number of campaign’s including Sky’s ‘Bring Down the King’ promotions for Game of Thrones.
For the fourth year running, The Sweet Shop was named Production Company of the Year as two of its directors took away three gongs apiece.
Steve Ayson took a gold and silver for his ‘Murmuration’ spot for SKY. Ayson and Damien Shatford took an award for work on Google Creative Lab & Semi-Permanent’s ‘The Cube’. Noah Marshall also took three awards, for his ‘Made of Here’ spot for Glassons. Mark Albiston also had a win in the Charity categories for his work on ‘Superhero’.
