Tewkesbury joins Story Camp Aotearoa

US writer, director, producer and choreographer Joan Tewkesbury will join Gyula Gazdag to mentor at Story Camp Aotearoa later this year.

Like Gazdag, Tewkesbury works with the Sundance Institute. She’s best known as the writer of Robert Altman’s Nashville, one of several Altman titles on which she collaborated. As a director in her own right, Tewksbury mad several TV features. Her debut feature, Old Boyfriends, premiered in Cannes Directors’ Fortnight.

Applications for Story Camp Aotearoa close Monday 29 August. Camp runs 28 November – 3 December.
