Time running out for NZCS Awards tickets

Only a handful of tickets are left for this Saturday’s inaugural NZCS Awards for cinematography to be held in Auckland this weekend.

The New Zealand Cinematographers Society (NZCS) members, sponsors and guests will be climbing into their best gear for the awards presentation dinner, featuring guest of honour Tom Stern ASC, AFC, a cinematographer known for as long collaboration with director Clint Eastwood, and for shooting The Hunger Games feature.

Guests will be treated to an impressive array of winning clips, from student films through to full-on feature films, says Project Manager Peter Parnham.

“It’s going to be a great event. There are entries from around the world shot by New Zealand cinematographers, and the quality of the entries, plus the support from sponsors has been fantastic,” he says.

The NZCS Awards run Saturday 15 October at the Grand Tea Room, Heritage Hotel in Auckland Tickets can still be purchased at nzcine.com.
