Tourism NZ scores runs in India

Announced last week, the appointment of Bollywood actor Sidharth Malhotra as a tourism ambassador has got off to a good start.

Sidharth’s trip to NZ has so far taken in the heights of Auckland’s Sky Tower and the depths of Park Road Post and Weta Workshop, where Richard Taylor has been very popular with India’s press.

New Kerala has run interviews with Taylor on Weta’s work on Shankar’s I and how 3D printing is impacting the pro-making business.

Indian Express and the Times of India has some broader pieces on Sidharth’s trip, which is being documented by Auckland-based Reel Factory.

Sidharth has been posting regular selfies on Twitter to his 2.4 million followers, and attended a screening of his latest feature Brothers, which has grossed cNZ$22 million since its release in August.
