Welcome back to the first edition of the Trailer Park for 2015. The Trailer Park runs every Monday, excluding public holidays.

There’s not a lot of new NZ content unleashing this early in the year, but still on screens are

Opening in mid-December The Hobbit: the Battle of the Five Armies quickly became 2014’s highest earner at the NZ box office.

Wavering between the occasional theatrical screenings and availability on disc and demand this month are a crop of last year’s favourites, including

And, as usual, we’ll round off the week with a tune.

We’ll begin 2015 with Timmy Trumpet & Savage’s Freaks, which was the best-selling local single of the year for 2014.
